TORQUE 3D?!

Hey All,
I've been out of the loop and have just heard about the pending release of Torque 3D. Having just purchased TGEA I'm currently up to my eyeballs in the learning curve of the engine. Here's my questions:
-When is T3D scheduled to ship?
-How similar will T3D be to TGEA?
-Will my learnings from TGEA translate over to T3D, or is it completely different architecture etc??
-Will T3D support Torque Scripting?
-How easy will it be to port my game from TGEA to T3D?
-How much will an upgrade from TGEA to T3D cost?
I guess I just don't want to spend a lot of time learning TGEA if the knowledge is not transferable to T3D, or if TGEA will no longer be supported.
Thx,
Duey

2009. Thats the only Date I know of, no actual timeframe other than this year. You can follow Brett Seylar's continuous updates leading to the release, it will keep you informed:
www.garagegames.com/community/blogs/view/15818
Very similar, because TGEA is being merged into Torque 3D. You can read about that here:

I think the last question answered this one
The Breakdown for Torque 3D includes:
Vastly Improved Art Pipeline
New Editors and Tools
Web Publishing
New Demos
New Starter Kits
Better, Faster Scripting
Support with sample implementations for more 3rd Party Middleware
- Physics
- Sound
- Other
Now it says better faster scripting, I would be shocked to see TorqueScript go away. So I just imagine a TorqueScript 2. But I'm sure there will be more info on that later.
I imagine it shouldn't be too hard, if you know a little programming. Since TGEA is essentially in it to begin with. You might want to track the progress on this:

And see how people use it when T3D gets into Beta.
Thats to be determined, reading these two articles should give you an idea of where they want to go with pricing though.
