Installed on a windows XP machine to do some mission editing and there are no fonts in any of the trees, buttons, labels, etc.
No font errors in console.txt
Nov DirectX SDK, this works on all of our Vista computers.

I had that problem too... don't know what the issue is, but I replaced all the fonts shipped with TGEA 1.8 with my fonts from TGEA 1.7.1 and that resolved the problem.

@Chris: If you delete the fonts in the font cache, they will be recreated.

However there seems to be other problems on XP - when we are editing the mission sometimes when we apply texture to a terrain bit with the terrain brushes it all goes black and we have to redraw it, we are installing Vista on said machine.

Ok this problem happens on Vista also, the machine has a GeForce 59XX Ultra and we have 4 of these cards and they all produce the same results. Is it possible that its a bug with the 59XX series of geforce?
