I'm using Mozilla and it looks fine to me. I really like the new site.

Im curious... what's GGTV?
And yes, the blue in the main text ain't good... black would be best... but the blue on the bars and links looks good to me.

I like the tank graphic, we ain't professionals anyway... we are just indies... indies have fun and make games... why give a fake professional look? :)Im curious... what's GGTV?

I have to say that the blue is mildly annoying, but its not unreadable, I dont even think that its really all that blue, for me its kinda a dark blue, I really have no problem at all reading it, maybe I just have good eyes or something but I really dont mind it... I guess if everyone doesnt like it then it should probably be changed though

Well, even though I like blue as a color, it makes the text a bit harder to read. I think the little green army guys rock! But I realize that I'm in the minority here in thinking that, it's all good, hehe... =)

Oops, the blue in the forums was a css mistake. Should be our favorite color now: black.

I'm running IE6, and the top navigation bar doesn't fit on my screen.
Also, the top row doesn't extend all the way to the right side of the screen.
I wouldn't say the design is impressive, but it's functional. That's all I really need the GG site to be.. I use it mainly as a resource.
I suggest putting a link to the torque resources on the left hand nav bar. It was hard to find IMO, when it got placed under the community projects header.

But the blue on the menus, it's a little strange. Maybe the background could be made to be something off-white instead of white?

How can you consider the thing on the top "amateurish" or like something a 5 year old would do? While it looks like it was made in paint, it looks well done. When I first saw it, I said, and I quote, "Sweet!". The idea of stats and animations sounds unique, and cool. But the blue on the menus, it's a little strange. That said, everything works and is fairly intuitive, which are features a lot of "pretty" websites lack.

I develop sites and IMO it looks like this site was like 3 different designs "slapped together".That said, everything works and is fairly intuitive, which are features a lot of "pretty" websites lack.

Whats the big the deal? The site is good. It is functional, not complicated, and it has army men on the top. How can you beat that?

The site works fine, but just some comments.
I'd agree, the site does, to some extent, look like 3 different designs "slapped together".
In terms of functionality, I've often found this site suffers from over-organisation...where everything is so meticulously organised that it can be hard to find! There are also a few little things such as having a reply box at the bottom of the page, that would make using the site a lot more intuative.
Obviously, the site is good as it is, but it could certainly be better ;)

Under IE5 on Win98SE, I was unable to access the site until I deleted all of my cookies. I thought the site was down all weekend until I tried it on another computer :o(

Same goes for the blue text - it makes the text harder to read. I'm all for things looking pretty, but not at the expense of basic function - and the basic function of text is to read it.
Things are looking very exciting for the GG community right now, just wish I had time to devote to game development =\
