The site doesn't even scale right. What a pain when its hard enough to make games without this.
Just put it back. It didn't need updating it was one of the coolest sites out there...
I think the forums could have been updated by themselves.

You must be using less then 1024x768. My main system have 5 screens with one at 800x600 for media player and quick website reading. The old GG site did not fit this screen. Why not upgrade to a cheep flat screen?

What is your screen res or the browser that you are using? That information might help someone be able to help you find a solution.
Right now on my laptop my res is 1200 X 800 and I'm able to almost half-size the window before any horizontal scroll bars appear in Firefox, but only 3/4 of the way in IE -- so it does scale. Most modern websites, that I visit, are designed for 1024 X 768 (or larger!), some older ones may still be designed for around 800 X 600, but like Caylo mentioned: even the "old" GG site didn't fit fullscreen on a monitor that small.

It's hard to make a game because the website does not scale right? I'm not sure I follow that logic. What is your screen res or the browser that you are using? That information might help someone be able to help you find a solution.

The website should scale properly for most resolutions by default. This is actually the first one I have found that doesn't.

Yes I use 1024x768 and the site does not scale right on that res.

The #header-center div needs to have a much higher margin-left value, like around -320px. But, if that is set, everyone with higher resolutions will have to logo floating out in the middle!
Very strange settings for the header indeed. If I were to change it, I would just put a background image that acts similarly to the header-right and header-left elements, and then just have a header-center that is exactly in the middle all the time.

Yeah, the properties they used for the CSS code on the header causes all the left hand elements to fly off to the left of the screen. The #header-center div needs to have a much higher margin-left value, like around -320px. I had made some "tweaks" through Stylish/Firefox and didn't see the scaling issue until I turned them off. I should have noticed it in IE though - 3:00 AM and too many beers eye syndrome!

Ok, I see that now. It doesn't scale properly after all.I had made some "tweaks" through Stylish/Firefox and didn't see the scaling issue until I turned them off. I should have noticed it in IE though - 3:00 AM and too many beers eye syndrome!
