Unable to get an activation email, or change email adress...

Hi there, i'm new to GarageGames although for some reason this account (my old email) has been around for ages, guess I signed up ages ago but never bought anything.
Anyhoo, I tried to make a new account with my current email but it never recieved an activation email. So then I thought, ok, i'll change this accounts email to my current, now it just says "Email already in use" when I try to do that, but i'm unable to request a new activation email, or login with the new account.

I desperately need to buy the engine for my Uni course and i've been trying just to activate an account for 3 days now, why no option to request a re-activation email? I hope the engine is'n't as user unfriendly as the new site.

Is there someone I can contact to have this straightened out?
I can't find any support links on the main site other than a phone number that would cost me a bomb to call and this forum.
