Even though having lots of Scripting troubles and nothing up on that TDN site for help :( Im still thinking about getting the TGB program, just not sure what I need to do what.
Can you get the One Without Source, then add source later, and do you need Source Code to make for like Linux boxes.
Do you Buy SDKs or something to make it Build for other platforms, or consoles, or web?
Since the demo I dont see much options for that kinda stuff not sure. I would like to make the projects for Mac, Windows, Linux, and WebBased for some. If anyone knows let me know thanks :)

iTGB? never seen that, still new. So thats like a Add-On package? Any ideas on how much they run or where to get info on them? So far I def like the engine, just wish the docs that came with it was more indepth on tutorials. Is that iTGB thing the Indie lisence? Or like the Commercial lisence?

If you would like my advise I would FULLY recommend you to concentrate on TGB and not worry about other platforms until you know how to use the main program.
I personally feel the docs are pretty well done at getting people started - I am still very new and am not that great at the coding side (although I am still learning)
My advise is to just do them, work at them one at a time. As you finish 1 tutorial put all of your .cs scripts into a word document - print it out. Now you have it printed, highlight areas and write about them, what it does, why it does it and how.
This should help in learning the code side, once you have done enough tutorials that you wish to try someone on your own (I decided this after a couple of them) then start on a basic game.
Work on an adaptation to the fish tutorial, maybe the player is a farmer holding a nest and he has to catch falling eggs??
Why not add a score so count how many eggs he has caught and how many he has missed :)
.....might have gone off into a tangent then :)

iTGB is a SDK I think to help in getting your TGB games onto the iPhone and iPod.If you would like my advise I would FULLY recommend you to concentrate on TGB and not worry about other platforms until you know how to use the main program.

Robert you should read this thread. It contains important information about TGB Linux "support".

TGB Pro gives the C++ source code, but only for modifications.
If you are making a game and run into a snag, get the pro version and fix it.

You can make an entire game without the SDK, because the builder can compile a binary form for all 3 platforms (Win/Mac/Linux).TGB Pro gives the C++ source code, but only for modifications.

There is not currently a Linux build of Torque 2D.

I got the version without source, Im sure you can get this later if required. Or if you require engine modifications hire someone with the source to do it :) (if thats allowed)
From what I understand TGB as is will make PC/Mac games. if you want other platforms etc you would need to purchase them ie iTGB
