Where are all the tutorials?

by Daniel Kashtan · in Torque X 2D · 01/16/2009 (7:01 am) · 2 replies

When I google torque x tutorials, very little comes up. What is the deal? I thought this engine was popular... is every single tutorial on the developer network (which is down, so I can't see if it has a lot of them). What is the point of GarageGames championing Indie development if there aren't good tutorials?

Some tutorials come with the installation of TX.. Here is where I found the docs on my computer:

open with web browser:
file:///C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/GarageGames/Torque%20X%202.0/v2.0.0.0/Docs/default.htm

Some pretty good tutorials there..

Also buy The Complete Guide to Torque X by John Kanalakis It's a great addition to the supplied tutorials.

Now if only I could learn how to make 2D art that doesn't suck =P

That link won't necessarily work unless you are running a x64 bit version of Windows and installed in program files. I would use: docs.garagegames.com/torquex/official/ and expand the area that you want to learn about and open the tutorials there (Example: Expand Torque2D and there is a whole section of tutorials. Just a suggestion. ;)
