Hey all
I been playing with the terrain editor and i must say im impressed with the funtionality and ease of use. But like every newbie i have a few questions. Thanks in advance for any and all answers.
1) A good tutorial...where might i find one...there is one listed in resources but the link is broken and there is a warning for spyware in reponse for it.
2)The green boarder is the Levels boarder am i correct?...what is the red boarder representing.
3)I seem to be getting holes in the terrain randomly(the water world demo has one of these holes) where there is no texture and you can fall though it and out of the world...is this a glitch that everyone is aware of or is it just me..im using 1.1.2. Its not on every map i create but it is a pain having to scower my levels for holes.
Thats perty much it..a tutorial would probably help an small questions like how to rotate objects and stuff.
Again thank you for any answers you may be able to provide.

If you erase this, all the holes should go away.

There is a field, a property, in the terrain block that contains the index #s of the empty squares. Cant remember what its called, nowhere near my dev machine, but...If you erase this, all the holes should go away.

You should also be able to erase empty squares using the "set empty" and "clear empty" actions in the terrain editor. Just select "clear empty" then paint the affected area with your brush.

I hope it helps
as with the hole I've noticed that when you make the ground too deep it creates this hole. Try bringing the terrain a little higher.
