No nodes

I'm using maya 6.5 and am able to export everything but the nodes.....

i've rewritten my cfg file several times and now have it at just
AlwaysExport:
*

just like the tdn says for vehicles...

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I've also made them children of start01 and moved them to be children of my mesh..to no avail...
I believe I may end up passing out soon...this banging my head is really starting to hurt
just noticed a few new bruises
may need a trauma surgeon soon...aughhhhhh

anyways....I'm mainly trying to get some old models I've collected and some I made into game...
figure the ones I collected I may put up for others to use for non-comercial use...since most of them
were just listed as free....or if nothing else as placeholders.......
so close.....just need a few nodes..................................................so far away

Look in your dump file see if there being removed on third pass if so the cfg is your issue.
Search the forums for saving the Cfg for maya .

Third pass: Collapsing unneeded nodes...

Removing node "base01"
Removing node "start01"

Checked the dump file and it was killing them in the third pass...

rewrote my config a few more times and finally got one to work....
not sure why, but hey, can't complain now....

guess I'll always just copy that file...definitely ain't writing another one.....
can't see the difference in half the ones I already wrote .

who knew?

Actually think I got it figured out...
I believe I had a blank space at the end of my cfg file...

noticed that there was an extra space when I selected my text.....removed that and it works everytime now..

just something to look out for in the future....highlight everything and check for unused whitespace...

wonder how I missed that........probably because I couldn't see it....
