Slow

Hi there. All torque programs seem to run so slow on my pc and crash often. more or less takes 45 seconds to load up anything even a blank screen. any ideas. my old broken laptop run it fast however my fast core duo does not. i would suggest its my pc but i've reformatted 2x also its only torque tgb and constructor.

Wondering if its an amd problem as it works fine on my 32 bit windows intel core but not on my amd 64 core

What are your system specs Anthony? Also, do you have any anti-virus running in the background, or any other memory/CPU intensive programs? Doesn't matter too much if you have a dual core, but some apps tend to bog down my system too.

I have both a 1.66 dual core intel acer laptop 1 gig ram 40 gb hard drive and a geforce go 7300 this one works perfect.

my desktop a 2 gig ram, 5200 amd processor dual core. geforce 9800 gt. this is the one all torque programs slow down on. I have Avg on both. now taken off the desktop thinking it was a problem. nothing out of the orderdinary cpu intesity wise. averages about 3% usage and TGEA spikes it to around 20% on startup and settles at 11%. spyware and virus clean. tried xp and ready boost

Hmm... so it does seem to be amd related. Do you have all of the latest windows updates and hardware driver updates?
