Deleting resource screen shots is painful

I uploaded a new resource (my first, yay!), with an accompanying screen grab. Unfortunately, I failed to notice the size restrictions on screen shots, and when the shot I uploaded was resized, it became illegible. So, I decided to delete it - and I found the process unnecessarily painful.

The resource editing page says to type "delete" into the text field to delete an existing screen shot. In FireFox, clicking the text field brings up the file selection dialog, the same as if I'd clicked the "browse" button. In Safari, there's no visible text field to click. Figuring the instructions might be Windows-centric, I tried using IE 7 in VMWare. That allowed me to at least select the text field and type "delete" into it, but clicking the "modify" button then had no effect at all.

I finally did manage to delete the screen shot, by creating a 0-byte file named "delete", then choosing and uploading that file. But that's an ugly work-around - a better solution by far would be to have a simple "delete" check box in the form, and delete the screen shot if it's checked and no replacement is uploaded.

Well I uploaded my first resource on Fri.... I think that is when they stopped updating it.. My resource is gone and I think I might wait a few days before re posting until a few bugs are worked out.
