Every week, some of the members of the community on the Lightwave forum over here participate in a "Speed Modeling Challenge". Week 5 of these challenges was a "Retro Electronics" theme and one of the finest entries from Chris "CMT" Tackett was 'Simon', an old Hasbro memory game from the 80's. I happen to love vintage video games and was inspired to create a Simon TGB game based on his model. This past week, I've been traveling for a holiday vacation and had the opportunity to focus on making some progress on the game.
I'm considering porting it over to iTGB with its recent release but need to evaluate the costs associated with that option a little more. From what I can tell, there are already two Simon clones on the AppStore but I think that my offering could be a little more appealing once I put some polish on it.
If I don't go the iTGB route, I'm planning on writing up a tutorial and putting it on TDN. I should know what the deal is in the next couple weeks.
If you have a minute and want to get in on some 80's action, take a gander...
Thanks to everyone who checked it out.
Also, special thanks to Phillip O'Shea for the technical help and Orion Elenzil for the scriptarray resource which made this a lot simpler to create.
