TX 3.0 current status

Hello everyone. I know you are anxious for the release of TX 3.0 and the 3D Builder... and we are anxious to give it to you! I want to be very open here, and let you all know what the current status is at this point.
The 3D Builder and Engine are at a Release Candidate stage right now. That means simply that we feel like we've got something that is up to our standards and ready for consumption. We are still currently running some very focused closed testing on Torque X / 3D Builder, and I have good faith that the results will be what we're hoping for.
It's hard to say when exactly this means it will get into your actual hands.."soon" is incredibly vague and means different things to everyone.
The holidays coming up make anticipating release dates very tricky as people go and come back from vacations, among other things. So, let me just say that for now, the product looks really good and we will continue to try as hard as we can to get it to you in as quickly a manner as possible.
Should this change, I will endeavor to keep you posted on whatever the current status might be - provided you don't take everything I say as hard deadlines/written in stone/a personal promise, etc. :)
Thank you

Ken, haven't been following TX 3.D but was going to do some dabbling with it and realized my demo lic had expired. Until the TX3.0 and 3D are released is there a demo I can download and tinker with or have they all expired as its in it final release state now?Sorry, found this post and just had to ask:)

Hi Randy. At this point, we don't have any betas or demos available, but we'll let you know on the website as soon as the software is released. Thanks!

Where would be the best place to check to see if its released? TorqueX info page, main GG page, other?

This forum is the best place. When it is officially released, we will have a blog about it. But you can also check the downloads in case we put it up and then prep the release blog. If that happens, then someone will most likely post about it here.
