Dirt Roads

Hi There,

I need to make some simple dirt roads that blend in nicely with the terrain. What technique would be best to use with TGEA? How are other people accomplishing this?

I did see a post where someone was using DIFs, however, I'm not sure how I would make a DIF conform to the contours of hilly terrain. What about using decals/overlays?

Any help would be appreciated.

I just paint my path after "smoothing" it using the editor tools. That's the simplest way to make a dirt road I've found.

Thanks Mike! Since we have limited textures available for terrain (I'm using Mega Terrains, I'm not sure what limitations Atlas has) I was hoping to avoid using one for dirt roads, however, it looks like I might be ok. This should work for me, thanks again for the response!
