TGEA 1.8.0 - GuiFadeinBitmapCtrl imaged pixelated

I'm using 800x600 images with GuiFadeinBitmapCtrl and they appear pixelated when running at higher resolutions in 1.8. It looks like there was some anti-aliasing happing in 1.7.1 that's not happening now.

It seems like that behavior could be restored, perhaps as a parameter?

I'm seeing this with GuiChunkedBitmapCtrl, also.

I think I read some comment that all textures were being downscaled to 256x256 or something crazy like that. Can anyone "in the know" comment on this, please?

$#&^! I forgot to check Notify again. I AM getting old...

No, that's not happening. Texture filtering was changed from Linear to Point, which results in a pixelated look. This has been resolved in 1.8.1
