Thanks, but I don't want to have to purchase iTGE seperately. Can I make games for the iPhone with just TGEA?...

No. There is not an iPhone platform layer available for TGEA. On top of that, the iPhone's video hardware is not capable of many of the shaderific benefits of TGEA.

As far as Torque is concerned, you need iTGB Pro + iTGB. Now, you need to make sure your system specs match up, such as having OSX 10.5.x, iPhone SDK 2.2, iPhone firmware 2.2, etc.

Can I create the game on a windows machine and then when it comes time to publish the game can I open it up on a mac and publish? Also, is there a demo of iTGB? That I can try?

You can do your prototyping on a Windows machine, but you will definitely want to do your debugging and optimization on a Mac. Mobile devices are finicky little things.

On top of writing docs for iTGB, I have been putting forth a little extra portion of my time to QA and learn how to use the system. I'm planning on pushing some games to the app store in the near future using iTGB.
