Including torque scripts in C

by David Castiaux · in Torque Developer Network · 12/02/2008 (10:16 am) · 4 replies

What directive has to be used in order to include the .cs files in an executable. I have both Visual C++ 2008 Express Edition, and Dev C++. What would work better for this task. My knowlege of C++ is very basic I'm still a noob but I have messed around with the Tribes 2 scripts so I have a limited knowlege of the torque script. Is there any one out there who can answer my question

First and foremost you would need a Torque license to gain access to the necessary code used in compiling and running TorqueScript.

It's not trivial, but the explanation is within the engine source which we can only discuss in private forums.

I have ordered the book 3D Game Programming All in One. It includes the Torque Game Engine is that the same or is it different. Would I still need to get a license? Do you guys give military discounts?

@David - The book comes with the TGE demo, but not the source and license. Unfortunately, we do not have any military discounts.

Speaking of which, are you active? Stateside or overseas?

I'm very interested in the game engine I went through high school playing tribes 2 every weekend. I'm active state side at this time but I've been to the sand box twice.
