Animating Burn in DTS objects

Okay well i have a house that is structurally built, I have no objects in it yet other than a wall and a staircase. What I want to do is build a door using .dts in 3dsmax and import it into constructor. This is a burn in, but what I want to do is animate the door in 3dsmax, to open and close, then when in constructor place that door in it, is there a way for burn in dts objects on a .dif file to be animated, I want to be able to tell the engine that when the player presses (x) key in front of the door, it opens or closes. Is there a way to do this?

I don't think this is doable in constructor. What you will want to do is build your .DIF in constructor and export it with a portal for the door. Then add the Door in as a seperate .DTS. There are quite a few door threads here already that cover the rest of your problem(the most recent being in the last couple of weeks IIRC). Just do a bit of searching.p.s. And yeah I tried to delete the second post but it requires moderators permission, I had canceled it so I could check the notify me box.
