Cant create Torque Project after installation

Hi,
I installed Visual C# 2005, then SP1, then XNA studio. I then downloaded TorqueX Builder as as demo and installed. I tried to get as far as the initial ReadMe in Torque which stated to open visual C# in game studio express and create a Torque project from one of the templates.
I can't even get this far. All the templates seem to have a red cross in one corner, and then I get a message saying that
A problem was ecountered creating sub project 'Game'.
The message goes on a bit and then says, the project type is not supported by the installlation.
So my game programming career comes to an abrupt end before it starts!
Any help appreciated. I installed Torque X 1.0.5.1.
Regards
SM

I installed XNA 2.0. To be honest, there are so many products I get confused. I simply downloaded Torque X Builder and cant see a TXB 2.0 link in the developer tool downloads.
If you can send me a link to the exact product I need to download I would appreciate it. Would rather be using XNA 2.0.
Thanks

If you are downloading TX 2.0 from the demo page for TX, it includes Builder. It is a time-limited trial. But it will use XNA 2.0.

I think I am going mad. If you go to Torque X home page
http://www.garagegames.com/products/torque/x/
and try the "Try now free for 30 days link". Enter your email address and you get version 1.0.5.1.msi, not version 2.

I am going to Torque X landing page, and the only "try now for 30 days" is for Torque Builder. I have not got a clue how to get a time limited version of TX 2.0 from your site....
Please send me a link to the landing page, and then an exact description of the link I need to click to get TX 2.0. It seems to be invisible. Perhaps it's a test...if you cant work out how to get to the product, you're not clever enough to use it!

Hover over the Products menu and select "Torque X Engine"
Click the "Download TX Demo" icon on the right-hand pane.

You don't have to put your e-mail address if you don't want to. Click "Begin Download".
Click the "Download Now" link under TX 2.0.
Run the installer.
TXB will be in the TXB folder wherever you decide to install it.
EDIT:
No nested tags... :(
