A good hosting place for a ZIP file?...

by Jan Sorensen · in General Discussion · 11/25/2008 (1:40 am) · 6 replies

Hi there :-).

Can anybody here give me an advice, where I can find a good Hosting place my Torque game ZIP file. It's about 530 MB big :-O.
The place must have a reasonable quick and good connection (MB / sec) and not be 'tooo expensive' :-D.

Hope for help and proposal. Jan :-).

I would suggest getting a Low cost webhost and put up a website where people can download your game. The one I linked too, is the one I've used for years without a problem, but there are more webhosts out there than you can shake a stick at. just google webhost.

Howdy Jan, Speedyshare seems like it could be of use.

To Mike:
Have you any idea (experience) of what "IX" think about/do with "BIG ZIP" files?

IxWeb is a website hosting company. Big zip files are no problem. I've used them for the past 10 years without a problem.

Http://www.mediafire.com is a good one. They also do a virus scan whenever someone downloads the file. No limits to the number of files or how much space you use, either(at least the last time I used them there wasn't).
