Essentially, posting within a community primarily composed of game developers, you should try an entice them with a project they are best suited for. After all, according to information you've posted elsewhere uMoya (your company) considers passion to be its first listed value.

@Stefanie - If I may be of some help: you might want to provide a slightly more descriptive offer. You do not need to give away full details, but it would be helpful if you provide some of the basics:- Project type - Prototype, Game, Simulation
- Project life - Short term, long term with finality, long term with no finality

Skills: At a bare minimum, I need people who have good programming skills, very strong mathematic skills, and experience working in 2D or 3D computer graphics programming, even if it is self-taught.
Salaries (In South Africa): 10K to 15K (The reason why so little: While we are a relatively stable and sizeable team at the moment (13 people), we are still young and growing and don't have Billion Rand budgets like other large corporates such as banks do. Therefore, we simple cannot afford to pay the same rates that these larger companies can.)
Junior Java Position:
Any applicant must meet the following criteria:
An excellent knowledge of Java and J2ME.
Experience in programming 2D or 3D graphical applications using either OpenGL or DirectX.
The ability to write neat as well as efficient and well thought out code.
Excellent math skills, specifically algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
The ability to work well in a team environment.
A love and integral knowledge of video games, their history, and the medium in general.
In addition, it would be beneficial for the applicant if any of the following criteria were also met:
A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or an
otherwise comparable subject.
Any completed video game projects, commercial or otherwise, for any platform.
Experience with Torque Game Builder, Torque Game Engine, or Torque Game
Engine Advanced.
Experience working with any additional 3rd party game engines or APIs.
Experience programming any systems related to video games such as AI, physics, user interface, or networking.
Experience working with C, C++, or C#.
Experience with creating plugins for art packages such as XSI or 3D Studio MAX.
Experience working for a recognized and well known video game developer or
