Tdn Down

TDN does not pull up, gets blank page with no errors being displayed..

I'm looking into this. We have been moving a lot of our servers in the past few weeks, so there's a good chance they are moving the one that holds TDN as well.
Also, there's a chance they are acting on my request to get a copy of the physical files and database tables that make up TDN.
I'm going to be running local sandbox tests to upgrade TDN, remove all restrictions (making it fully public), fixing bugs, and so on.
I'll let everyone know what I find out. If its is up before I reply, please let me know.

Please avoid going to TDN for now. The server box responsible for hosting TDN has run into issues. We have someone actively working on it, but I don't know when the site will be back up.I'm anticipating Monday, but don't quote me on that.

I know it hasn't been long since the last person responded here, but I'm kind of stuck. I want to learn TGB, but TDN is my only real place to learn as there is no book out for TGB yet. On top of that, I don't like using the forums for learning stuff because I'm afraid of asking something that already exists, but don't know it because the forum search is so horrible. Any more news on the status of TDN?

In the mean time I'm sure those of us that are usually "go read TDN" zealots will be far kinder to answering questions than we are normally. Go ahead and ask what you need to know.

There's nothing really specific. I just like being able to go over the tutorials that are there. They have more content I'm looking for than the tutorials within the TGB Docs.

For all the complaining about TDN, this is a great way of showing how much everyone uses it. This is just as bad for me as it is for you guys. I'm going to update and revamp TDN completely. I need access to it as well so I can get to work.
I'm counting down the seconds as well, and I will not delay in letting you know when it is back up.

Upgrading TDN will be a great day for everyone.
ETA on TDN being brought back on? I still don't know. I'm glued to these forums. As soon as my ops guy tells me its up, all 7 threads will be notified.

I've been playing with mediawiki (which is what TDN is built on). The newest version is a lot more stable, and I've found a great deal of extensions I'm going to install as well to help with organization and searching.Upgrading TDN will be a great day for everyone.
