TGEA: Running on 64 bit OS?

I'm thinking of building a new Machine, and moving all my code and stuff onto a 64 bit OS. I want more ram, more then 3GB, so i'm thinking of going 64bit. How does TGEA and its tools run on a 64 bit OS. I'm also debating on going onto Windows XP 64bit vs Vista 64. any thoughts? let me know. Thanks.

Was thinking about this setup. Let me know if im going overboard or need more.
I'm going to obviously set it higher then the specs of the console system itself. seeing that Windows OS is a lot more overhead vs the xbox360 OS.
Intel Q6600
8GB DDR2 Ram or 4GB DDR3
ATI Cross fire or NVidia SLI GFX Card 512DDR4
Let me know what cards you would recommend as well. my current machine is this which i think runs a bit slow
P4 3.2 HT
2GB DDR2
ATI 1950 Pro

I'm also thinking of building a new workstation Dedicated for working with TGEA. I want to gear this System to work best as if i was to run it at the Xbox360 Speed. Was thinking about this setup. Let me know if im going overboard or need more.

That should be more than enough to run whatever you decide to throw at it. Toss in a top of the line ATI or nVidia and you're good to go. ATI and nVidia both work well with TGEA, just download the latest and greatest drivers.

I switched to 64-bit Vista a couple weeks ago when reinstalling my dev box. Everything is working great.

Same here... Ive never had any problems with any Torque product and Vista Ultimate 64bits (that why I never understand people claiming they have problems). Just dont throw away your old PC, ou may need it for frofiling in a lower end machine.
