No files are shown

Hi there,
when I try to change my textures the open file dialogue opens
the left side is ok all the directories are shown well , but there aren't any files
on the right side , what could that be?
I hope that you can help me.
PS: If this is the wrong section pls forive me and just move the post.

I am using the tutorial.base from a tutorial source my textures are in jpeg format ,
but all my textures are shown correctly I just can't change them.
Engine qould be TGE

Don't reload pages after posting without moving away from the page first. Doing so forces you to repost.

First off... please don't spam the forums. You posted the same question in 4 different locations. In the future just make one post and stick with it.
Secondly, we need a bit more information... because you posted in 4 different forums, we cannot assume what engine product you are working with. What engine are you using?
Thirdly, what format are your textures in? Where have you saved them?
