UI Problem

I downloaded SoftImage XSI 7 Trial and while go through
the tutorial videos I noticed something.
In the videos, when the person highlights some polygons the
selection highlight is red/transparent.
On my computer it's a red solid block that I can't see
through and screws up my view when modeling.
Is this a setting I need to adjust or a possible problem
with the application or my video driver?
Anyone have this problem before?
