OMG Jonathon, that's too funny! I do seem to watch these threads a little too closely. But my heart goes out to those 1-post threads that just sit there. When I first started using GG technology, I once posted a thread and nobody ever responded and I felt like crap. I feel the need to see that every post gets a response.
But Fredrik, I know that you have serious questions about physics and I want to make sure taht you get the answers you need. I'm checking the code and creating a test case to be sure that the values I send you make sense. What I'm trying to figure out is the right correlation between "game" mass and "real" mass - so that you can say the robot weighs X lbs and the force of gravity is 32 ft/s and then plug in the right approximation into your game.

LOL! It's not easy to balance work and family. But, I really try to help out as much as I can on the forums. The whole reason for writing the book was to help as many developers at once as possible, since the same exact questions constantly come up. (Believe me, there is NO money in writing books). In fact, I want everyone that comes to the forums to use Torque X to create awesome Xbox360 games that sell on Xbox Community LIVE Arcade and make a ton of money with their great Indie game ideas. i remember a time when people flocked to the US to get a 'US education.' we'd probably do better to outsource high school teachers to india now ;)
"time to take attendance now folks, someone grab the camera and move me around so i can see who's here"

It is quite strange how anything educational, such as books and teaching positions, tend to come with very little compensation to the teachers. people wonder why US education is so horrible?!i remember a time when people flocked to the US to get a 'US education.' we'd probably do better to outsource high school teachers to india now ;)

Thank you for your heart: 3 out of 5 1-post threads in the "book discussions" are from me ;)
Your book is great!

You can talk to yourself in the forums. We wouldn't say anything.
