Final Refund Request

by Huw · in Torque Game Engine Advanced · 10/19/2008 (1:14 am) · 5 replies

I gave the TGEA another go after getting some support but after a month it's still not working out. The engine is beyond my abilities. And sorry to post here but again I don't know where else to contact.

I've deleted TGEA from my computer, I can't use it. The order is still in my account, the records are all there.

Please, I need to get my money back.

Buyer's remorse isn't always a reason to expect your money back.

When you invest money in a project like this, and use the engine, you can't really ask for your money back just because you didn't plan ahead, or aren't willing to learn the engine. I don't want to sound rude, but you should have done some research before purchasing the TGEA. Demonstration/Trial versions are designed so that you can test the engine out before purchasing it.

However, I would think that taking away a license wouldn't be a problem- getting fully refunded isn't likely.

@Huw - I'm sorry, but this request was addressed in your previous threads. We have done all we can to help you. There is nothing more to discuss publicly.

Could it be possible for another person or company to purchase Huw's license since he clearly does'nt want it?

No. the license is non-transferable unless it is a commercial license.
The answer is in the EULA.

Well the EULA for commercial license says the same if you mean section 2, -do you have another EULA Scott?

From Torque Game Engine Advanced - COMMERCIAL License:
"2. LICENSE GRANT.

(a) In accordance with the terms herein, Licensor grants a limited non-exclusive, non-transferable license..."
