3ds max 2008 to Constructor

3ds max 2008 to Constructor, I am playing with max2dif exporter for 3d max, I have tried to build a building with AEC Extended (walls) then I tried to use a boolean subtraction to create door ways, but when I export to constructor. The door ways are wierd in constructor, there is like a triagulated polygon going across the door way. Where it should be a hollow door way.
Can anyone help with some good tutorial links or has anyone experienced this before?
Thanks, Gone Nutts

I don't know whats causing it.
if I use the boolean subtraction tool to make a window or a door the polygons go funny when exported into constructor.
I there any special rules needed to be followed when creating interiors in 3ds max 2009 ?

Sorry about that is the puglin I am already using. I don't know whats causing it.

from 3ds max to constructor the interior object dosn't export properly into constructor ?
then from constructor to TGEA demo the interior object exported differently again ? (the object in TGEA has deformed more)
Can you please help me.

Hi again! When I try to bring the interior into TGEA demo, the simple box with a boolean doorway subtraction has changed again. (Still not right like) from 3ds max to constructor the interior object dosn't export properly into constructor ?

For ease, only use convex shapes. Try to use as simple of geometry as possible, keeping your detailed geometry for DTS's. Then export the base convex geometry to constructor with the plugin and the complex geometry with the DTS exporter. Place the DTS's in Constructor and burn out the DIF with the export to DIF option.

I haven't used it, nor would I usually consider using it (though it is a much better plugin than many of them out there) simply because polygonal modeling and csg modeling is very different and creating an exporter to link the two modeling paradigms and rules can be extremely annoying. For ease, only use convex shapes. I have been taught to use boolean only as a template then to create Convex shapes in place of
the boolean operation.
Remember when going from 3ds max to constructor you still have to have everything as convex shapes.
Your only other root would be to export your model with Polysoup collision.

You cant use boolean Subtraction because your probably left with concave structures.I have been taught to use boolean only as a template then to create Convex shapes in place of
