UpdateVertexBuffer()

On page 120, you write in a grey box:

If you are switching a material with a TextureDivider used for celled images, you may need to call T2DTileLayer's UpdateVertexBuffer() method to update it's texture cordinates properly.

I don't understand this... Can you explain it in other words or with an example?
