Thanks for helping me on my other problem, even though it was just moral support:)
Quick question that I don't see the solution for. The notify me of replies does not send me emails, is this working for everyone or just my account? I can't find a preferences menu to turn globally on and off, or I may be missing it.

Technical Product Designer (Mechanical Design) for Boeing for over 25 years working with CAD and PLM systems. I have a Associates Degree in Business and a partial B.S. in Game and Simulation, just couldn't see paying the costs for some of the classes.

Is the email address next to the notify checkbox the right one? It's possible to have your account's private email and public email be completely different.

Just a note. Sidefx informed me when I registered for their site, that all email to Comcast is blocked as SPAM... They are trying to help me....ARGH!

Switched my email and started getting them now. Sounds like Comcast may be blocking a server in the GG path for what they percieve as spamming.. Same with Sidefx site.
But it works now.. Thanks.

I suppose I could try changing the email address to another one, but it worked fine up until recently.

Something similar for me, I've noticed in the past couple of weeks that I haven't been receiving email notifications for new replies. Is there a limit to how many threads you can check the "Notify me at..." box for? I suppose I could try changing the email address to another one, but it worked fine up until recently.

Apparently, for me anyway, post alerts via Hotmail no longer work, worked fine up until several weeks ago though. Gmail works and I've switched back and forth several times just to check so to hell with Micro$haft.

Microsoft and comcast are famous for blocking IP address. My company has had several problems with them blocking emails from us. It's simple enough to get them on the phone and tell them to unblock our IP address.
