The game me and mmy team are working on is a space sim i posted about a long time ago. We had a question we hope that you guys can shed somelight on. What type of system would be needed to run intro video style game graphics.
Meaning a game that looks as good in game as in the cut scenes. we figured something around a gig of ram and 3 ghz

It depends on the quality of the intro graphics. The point is, the faster computers get, the prettier the intro graphics get.

Well, on a GeForce3 you've got hardware support for higher order surfaces (curved surfaces)... combine that with per-pixel BRDF lighting and hardware supported shadow casting, and you're getting pretty damned close.

Sorta off the wall questions.

But, how do you get the star feild up in your game?

I know its multi pics, but was it easy?

I'm think about getting V12 for a game we're working on.

Thanks
