Xbox Live Support in TXB

by Adam Culberson · in Torque X 2D · 10/06/2008 (11:45 pm) · 2 replies

I just purchased TXB using Torque X. I did not buy Torque X Pro. Is there built in support for adding Xbox Live functionality to a game using TXB? I would like to develop a game for my Xbox 360 that I can submit to the XNA Creators Community Games this fall but I need to know if this is supported.

Also, I am having a hard time finding any comprehensive documentation or tutorials for TXB. Is there more out there?

Thanks,

Adam

@Adam - Right now, the three best sources of Torque X documentation are:

- Torque X Landing Page
- Torque X Official Documentation
- John K's Complete Guide to Torque X

Only reason I can see for Xbox Live is a multiplayer game. I did not spot anything network related in TorqueX. I think you will have to look at XNA2's own classes for this, which I am now doing. I will probably release the lobby and other classes I am creating now as an add-on later.

TorqueX 2 got some pretty decent docs. Just go to where you installed it (or TXB) and have a look at docs/Torque X API.chm
