Torque School Site Down

by Zuero · in Torque Game Engine · 09/30/2008 (11:09 am) · 7 replies

I wanted to see if anybody here goes to the Torque School website to view or purchase the courses there. There seems to be site problems in the Course Area. When I try to click the link to the Course Area it comes up with this error:

The encoded file C:\Inetpub\vhosts\torqueschool.com\httpdocs\components\com_joomla_lms\joomla_lms.php has expired.

Does anyone that visits the Torque School Website have this problem? And does anyone know how to fix it?

Thanks in advance,
Daniel

I believe Dave Young mentioned that they've been doing some work behind the scenes, so that's probably what you're experiencing.

I asked about torqueschool last week and had an email from Dave saying "We aren't going to be continuing with Torqueschool".

It wasn't great news since I still had a course outstanding from the holiday special offer at the start of the year! I'm in the process of trying to get that resolved.

Unfortunetly i doubt this is the case.

There has been very little response in regards to its and according to dave, its not likely.

I would also point out the other mydreamrpgs sites, including the SVNs for others , have been moved/shutdown. a quick check to

www.mydreamrpg.com check out the forums, pretty much dead. Even the CSK was moved to Garagegames. These are not good signs in terms of the mydreamrpg community and its related markets.

Ok thanks for your posts.
@Edward: I looked at the forum thread link you posted and it seems Dave will most likely be continueing the RPG Courses which is what I am only interested in. So thanks and hopefully Dave will get my email that I sent.

The RPG Series Course is what I really wanted, because I am an RPG freak. Hopefully he will continue the series like he said he would probably do in the forum thread link you gave me Edward. So thanks again for the link. It has given me a bit of relief.

I hope that he does continue on the RPG courses, his first one was very very well done. I have the first one, and it was full of goodies. but who knows whats going to happen.

I hope he does too. I really do because the first one with the Character Customization looks awesome and I would love to get my hands on that for a start.
