Importing DTS and DSQ

Hey i have alot of downloaded DTS and DSQ models.

How can i import them into the fps.starter kit.? and put them in the map for testing?

@Ryan - What DTS and DSQ models do you have? Are you looking for a script solution, or an exporting solution? Are you just looking into dropping them in the game via the WorldEditor?

Have you checked the docs yet?

Look for the folder ~/data/shapes inside your Starter.FPS. Put the models there, run the game, hit F11 to pop World Editor, then F4 (World Editor Creator) and you will have an explorer tree in the right. Under the /shapes/ directory there you will see your models. Just click on the desired model and it will show up in your mission.

This works for static models. If you have animated models, search in documentation how to trigger model animations (other than player animations, that is something else).

And do remember to put the textures in that folder too...
