Game Creator Store for Torque?

As the programmer for the Game Creator Store application I was wondering if the Torque community would be interested in using it to download 3D content in the .DTS format?
I've taken one of the character models from the store and converted it to .DTS using a converter we have been working on: files.thegamecreators.com/betafiles/cyclopsDTS.zip would this sort of thing be useful? and if not what could be changed to make it more useful?
The store can be downloaded from here if you want to take a look: darkbasicpro.thegamecreators.com/?gf=store

If you can follow Torque's naming guidelines for animations, that would be excellent. And, of course, we would love to have access to the art source and any animations. Though, I believe thegamecreators does not currently offer source art.
For models such as weapons, we really need the source so that we can set up nodes properly. I.E.: projectile ejection points, bullet casing ejection points, player mount points, muzzle flash locations, etc. Without these, we just have a model that we can't effectively use.

I second David's suggestions. If you can follow Torque's naming guidelines for animations, that would be excellent. And, of course, we would love to have access to the art source and any animations. Though, I believe thegamecreators does not currently offer source art.

I don't see why not, it seems pretty cool to me. I too would have to add that having the source art would be more desirable for the serious developer. Mostly because it's quite difficult to find a good, yet affordable, artist to create truly unique and custom artwork.

But it seems like a big job, since we need to put every download over to the store.

I vote for that too.But it seems like a big job, since we need to put every download over to the store.

I like the idea a lot, and it's good to see that Torque is spreading it's wings across the web. All of the above statements are very true but for Tyler - as far as I am able to understand the Game Creators store would only sell products developed by them or their respected clients and content available on Garagegames.com or any other asset publisher would only be available there if the clients decided to use it as a secondary publishing venture.

Often times people want the source formats as well, though, so that they can tailor them to the look and feel of their games.
Good luck! It's a cool idea for a content storefront!
