Hello,
I was wondering if you all know where I can get a php script for a mafia game? If not will you be willing to code one for me? If so can you please give me a price range?
Here is the link to the current mafia game that I play.

I want it to have all of the features that this game has but I want to have some extra stuff coded into it.
Thanks

I wanted it to use PHP and MySQL technology. But at the price you are saying it would be I can't do that.

10$ an hour is real cheap most PHP guys i know are at least 35 an hour

I realize it is cheap but I just don't have that kind of cash to spend. I am not really looking at getting a script made to make money off the game. I am looking at it to use for fun. So that price is just way to much for me to spend.

EDIT:

Yeah. Most web programmers I know that are worth their salt are making quite a bit of cash for being very, very good at what they do. I was being extremely generous.

You could invest $20 in a used PHP and MySQL book or use online tutorials for free.EDIT:

Well, like I said thanks for such a great offer but I just can't put that kind of cash into it. But I am willing to try to do some stuff myself. So can you recommend some books to get and read that might help me. I have no prior knowledge in this subject area so I need to start from the ground up.

If you paid $10 an hour for a 40 hour work week for a month, it would be $1600. By then, with an experienced developer, you could have a number of the core features, and depending upon their experience, could probably have a lot of the front-end blog/event posting/etc.
Were you thinking of using an existing platform such as the Facebook or MySpace API's or build it from the ground up? Or using a CMS package to manage much of the administrivia work?
