Vista Ultimate 64Bit and OpenGL

Has anyone run into issues with Vista(64 Bit maybe?) and OpenGL rendering for TGB Program that would cause the mouse position to be wrong?
The problem I ran into was that with OpenGL selected, when I would go to click a button, be it changing a mount, collision points or any of the buttons within the application, I would have to hover my cursor below the button just to get it to work. If I had a Desktop Video Recorder program, maybe Fraps or something, I could record what was going on with it.
Long story short, I changed to Direct X and suddenly my mouse was working properly within the application.

Yes, I'm having the same problem. But it only works in DirectX for me if I don't change the size of the window.

Disabling the aero theme or runing your app in compatibility mode (disable composition) will most likely eliminate your problem.

I turned off the areo theme and changed the TGB Shortcut to disable desktop composition and run in compatibility mode. That said, when I maximum the TGB editor (or increase the dimension) everything is off.

Recently I had problems working with a design team and working on exporting a model to be exported to another game engine. As far as I could tell there was no reason why my exports were not showing up in the game. After checking I realized a lot of my apps were running in OpenGL. After changing my settings so they accessed DirectX everything started working no more weird things like you are experiencing. In my case in most of my graphics programs I would be missing toolbars. After going to DirectX, they all show up now.

So for me, no more OpenGL. I am running the latest Nvidia BETA drivers since that is were support for my cards come in, but generally try and run the latest.

I'm running the latest ATI drivers in DirectX and the lots of things are misaligned in the TGB IDE (or what ever its called) if you alter the screen size. And yes, I did all the things recommended above. I tried TGB 1.6 and it had the same issues?

Maybe its not meant to work with Vista 64 bit?

Since I'm new to this process, can someone please explain how it works? Does someone from Garage Games confirm the problem and provide an ETA on a fix? How do I know its been added a a list of issues or not?

I'm using a Quadro on Vista 64b and it is working correctly. I had to make sure to enable hardware acceleration since it was turned off for some reason (requiring a reboot). But before the reboot, TGB worked nicely. After the reboot it worked nicely as well. I disabled Aero to see if it made any noticable difference since I have had to do that with Constructor, but it didn't seem to matter. I ran the default install of TGB 1.7.4 as well as a patched version which includes some updated from Amanda Fitch's team.

EDIT:
Thought I should also note that I'm using OpenGL and not DirectX in the settings. I also have the latest manufacturer drivers for my card.
