Hi,
I installed the trial version of txb 2 and just by opening it, it takes 50% of my CPU in my laptop. Does anyone have/had this problem and know how to fix it?
Thank

Runs on CPU0 on mine at about 20-25%, CPU1-3 are free at almost 4-6% as it is only set to run in CPU0. In other words, no system impact when running it for me.
From my experience, unless you have a powerful laptop anything will tax them at 50%, or at least on my old Sonny. Waiting for a Laptop with a good Quad setup and SLI\liquid cooling to come out..:)

I think that is also directly proportional to your laptop, its speed and the memory you have as to how much the CPU has to work. Also which CPU? :)Runs on CPU0 on mine at about 20-25%, CPU1-3 are free at almost 4-6% as it is only set to run in CPU0. In other words, no system impact when running it for me.

David, I opened 2 theads in different places because I did not know where to make the question. Also because I needed a quick answer to decide if use Torque X or not, and unless you solved the problem recently the forums/site is usually down 90% of the time so you cannot ask nor get answers.

Yes, I noticed that as well doing tests in another computer. Basically it takes one CPU completely. If you have 2 cores it will take one, that means 50%. If you have 4 cores it will take one completely as well, so that is a 25%.David, I opened 2 theads in different places because I did not know where to make the question.
