Torque requesting something to be patched when running program

Hey all:

I am submitting several demos to some game design companies to get a job working for them. I got an email back from my contact in the company that said that when the programmers attempted to run the demos, torque would not run them but instead told them to update something.

The descriptions of the problem was sketchy, but the bottom line is that they can't see my demo's. I don't know anything about the types of computers the games are being tested on, but in personal testing I cannot reproduce the problem. I ran the compiled game without error on 5 different computers, 3 of which knew nothing about the torque game engine. All 5 of my test boxes ran the game perfectly.

I am at a loss. I don't know how to fix this, has anyone ever seen anything remotely close to what I am referring to, what could torque possibly be asking them to update or patch?

It sounds like they need to update their drivers. That's the only error I've recieved that even comes close. I would ask them for the exact error message.

Thank you Mike,

I am waiting on that response. I spent most of my day coming to that same conclusion, I just wonder what drivers they would need to update. Any Ideas?

Do you happen to remember what the text of that message was when you received it? Did it give a link to a patch of some kind?

It's most likely their video drivers. Most companies don't use current video drivers becouse they don't need them. They will need them to run a torque game.
