Private Blogs?

I created a Private blog so i could edit it and set it up before publishing. I could go to another computer that I haven't accessed GG site with and could go straight to my blog. If you set to private and no comments, does it still show up if someone views your other BLOGs? or your profile?

It comes from an old tradition of allowing comments or not being called private (private meaning that no one can comment on your thoughts and cause a flame war). It wasn't private in the sense of only being available to you (like is currently the practice for blogging that actually makes sense with the wording). It was like a no trespassing sign, but people can still peek over the fence. They just can't come in your yard and wizz on your plants.

Thanks... So there is no "in Edit Node". I assume it needs to be compiled offline first. No big deal, just glad I tried before I go a bunch of comments on an unfinished blog:)

You should see an edit and delete icon in your blog post. Also, blog posts are listed as resources in your profile.

I think some prior experience with some kind of blogging software you have may be confusing things for you here. The mechanism is the same as posting in the forums. You can make edits to it later on if you need to, but there is no need to have to put it all together offline, unless of course you want to.You should see an edit and delete icon in your blog post. Also, blog posts are listed as resources in your profile.

What I was getting at for the offline editing, was that if you wanted to write a lengthy "Blog" with pictures, links, ect.. It might take you a couple of hours to get it all in. You can't save it until you are done, otherwise an incomplete blog goes out to everyone.
But you are probably right, I have always generally seen a draft feature for blogs, and even most forums now have that.
Now that I know that, I can create my own draft feature myself:)

I don't think it is my experience with other blogging software so much as that it is the way blogs are generally setup. To allow you to create drafts before publishing.
