Is remote collaboration possible?

I want to try and establish remote instruction/collaboration on a project. Would anyone be interested in working together to see if we could establish such and see if we can use it to try and help explain code issues to each other? I feel that with the right collaboration tools that maybe virtual instruction for VC6/3dSM/Photoshop, etc might be very useful. Anyone got any direct experience with packages? Netmeeting? Any Windows product have any such capabilities? Looking to allow multiple persons to connect together and have one "master" control provide mouse clicks, movement, screen manipulation, etc to show the process steps necessary to achieve a result.

@Ron - Interesting reading alright but unfortunately nothing about actual software components that might assist here. Actually you attempts at 3D transformation help is what has sparked my interest. It sure would be nice to talk to someone on the other end of a Visual C++ window and at the same time mouse point, highlight or whatever for the different sections of code being discussed.

WinXPs remote assistant isn't too awful bad for that. It's a bit slow, but it gets the job done.

The company that I work for uses webex for our remote meetings, presentations, training,...etc. Based upon your requirements this product looks like what you are looking for. As far as cost/setup, I have no idea. I have always "attended" the meetings.
You might also want to take a look at the post Best Tool for Conferencing with Virtual Teams.
