The house project

Hi all,
I have a couple of ideas floating around, I have had a fair bit of experience making websites and I'm wondering how easy/hard the integration of some of these ideas into the game would be.
The game would involve participants all entering a house, similar to the sims, except using a 3d worldspace, think myspace but in a virtual sense. Ideally adding a interaction feature set, and integrating a social networking system into the core game.
It would be a contest, and voters will be able to watch these people online, living their virtual lives. Think big brother, but on a much larger scale, a huge house with 100's of bedrooms, living quarters. People would pay a minimum fee to watch the participants live their virtual lives, and paying a subscription can earn them the ability to use one ability on the housemates per day. This will allow each viewer to justify any time spent during the day. The most popular people stay on, and a percentage of the gross of the subscription fee's goes towards the winner of the entire competition. The contestants/housemates would be picked at random from the pool of subscribers and thus give incentive for the rest to keep subscribed, to both win a virtual contest, and come away with a lot of money at the end.
How possible do you think this idea would be to bring into fruition, using the torque game maker toolset?
Give me some reflections on this idea, do you think it would work? Etc.

any help will be Apreciated.

Alphasent - As for the idea itself I'll refrain from commenting (I hate reality shows so my views would be negative).

It would be possible to make something like this using Torque tech - a good example would be vSide or see Orions .plan which is a social networking type of thing but to do this kind of thing you'll need to do one hell of a lot of modifications to Torque and would need a good programmer to do that. The standard Torque license only really allows you to produce games so you may need to discuss a different license with the guys at Garagegames too.
