AI Turrets (1.20) track but don't fire

EDIT: I think I have this posted into the wrong area. If a mod would be so kind as to move it I'd be much obliged. :-D
Greetings!
I'm using Paul Dana's Turret and AITurret 1.20 resource on TGE 1.5.2 along with the Decane flight kit, and have run into a problem for which I am thus far unable to find a solution.
I have turrets that properly track targets (both player and bot) and switch between multiple targets based on proximity like they're supposed to, but am not getting any actual fire from them. I placed an echo into the AITurretData::fireGun function of aiTurret.cs and it's showing that function is being called, but no actual projectile is shown. I boosted the turret's energy to 2500 just in case it was an ammunition issue but that made no difference.
Everything else is working, including all of the bots and the turret's own tracking behaviors, and I'm not getting any errors anywhere.
Has anyone else that's used this resource run into a no-fire situation without any clear cause as to why?
TIA for any suggestions on what to check. :-)
