Free Game Idea For Anyone Interested

I have so many ideas that are great. Though I don't need to many because I want to make sequels of other games. So here's an idea if anyone is interested.
Name: Path of the Shinobi
Genre: Action Adventure
Platform: PS3 or XBOX 360, or both
Players: 1-2 Players, Co-op
Brief Description: A young Shinobi (ninja) was at peace. Heading towards his village after
an unsettling mission with the Seto Kahn warriors, mysterious force
that soon apeared after the misguided conspiracy of Princess Manoki's
death. Soon to find his village perished in an unholy state. With a view
of a shadow, a woman laughing in agony in an abnormal manner. With
an assumption of her being the wicked evil tyrant. He then dashes his way
to get to the village to search for any survivers. As he arrives the woman
disappear into the dark. He took a glimpse at her and see that she isn't
human. He looked all over the village to seek anyone who survive. To
only find another Shinobi who is a woman, lurking around. She took it upon
his offer to join him in this expedition.

Don't get me wrong, but where's the game idea in this? You're sketching elements of a background story, but there's no elements of gameplay at all. Even Action Adventure does not say much at all.

complete it. If you having a hard time getting the picture towards this game, I can put more
ideas out for it.

This is just an idea. The rest of the work is upon any developer who's interested enough tocomplete it. If you having a hard time getting the picture towards this game, I can put more
ideas out for it.

Also while you say it's a free idea (and thank you) it will take a lot of iteration to make this into a game, so the final game would probably be vastly different from your idea.
I would keep the idea for your own intellectual property.
As always, if you want some help in making this into a game, please don't hesitate to ask :)

Yep sounds like an interesting idea but it's need more structure to it - like what happens next, what does the player do from scene to scene and how does it end. Also while you say it's a free idea (and thank you) it will take a lot of iteration to make this into a game, so the final game would probably be vastly different from your idea.

Why is he at peace after an unsettling mission?

It's basically telling the begging of the story or the prologue, but the
rest is for you to tell.
Also he's at peace because he finaly finish the mission and hope to
get some rest while at home and to be back with his family, which
is including ( His father, wife, son and daughter) though, they were
killed within the village.

It's fine if the final product is different from my idea and your welcome. It's basically telling the begging of the story or the prologue, but the

The reason being, for the most part being a game developer is all about being creative so much so that any developer you meet probably has an endless supply of their -own- ideas they would rather make instead. But that said best of luck.

Ideas are a dime a dozen (really actually more worthless than that). Even when an idea is backed by a fully thought up design document (and if you haven't spent at least a month or two minimum and it doesn't have at least 25-50 pages bare minimum its not really thought out), ideas are basically not worth anything to game developers who would be able to make a decent game. The reason being, for the most part being a game developer is all about being creative so much so that any developer you meet probably has an endless supply of their -own- ideas they would rather make instead. I have many ideas that have over 100 pages. Their completely thoght of with gameplay mechanics, full lenght story, and many other aspects. You'll see these unique games in the near future.

@Deshawn - perhaps you should publish them. I think you might be able to charge around $30 US for an ideas book - make sure you get the copyright done properly. Just the other day I was scouring through 20 year old game design books looking for another idea. I think an ideas book may sell well. Especially if you add a section on how to implement each one in Torque. You wouldn't need a thorough description, just an overall structure of how the parts of the game would be written/drawn/designed.

If the idea of why having a game idea does not equate to much you might want to read the other articles on the site. Now, this isn't to say that its completely impossible to get someone interested enough that they do all hard work for you - but then its not completely impossible to win the lottery either.
If you -actually- want to make your game a reality your going to have to do a lot of work. But, hey, if your dream is worth it what's a little sweat and tears. Best of of luck with your games - just remember game development is vastly more complicated then jotting down some ideas.
