Can't change light entity values in Properties pane

by Kerry Enfinger · in Constructor · 08/19/2008 (11:29 am) · 5 replies

I am using version 1.0.51 of Constructor and I can't modify the values of falloff1 and falloff2 in the Properties pane. The program keeps placing the default values in the edit box when I try to type. Anyone else had this problem?

Hi Kerry,
I had the same problem. Jaimi -- our resident Constructor demigod -- is working on a new release that addresses that bug.

In the meantime, as a workaround, you can create the light entity with the default values, then go into the Scene menu, Manage Entities..., and edit your light there. Not as convenient, but works just fine.

Good luck!

Yes, this is a known problem (that is now fixed). I need to put up another update (and check in all the code...) I'll email you the updated script that fixes this.

Thanks for the replies. I didn't find anything in a search but I'm glad that you have the bug resolved. Looking forward to the update.

Got it, Jaimi. Works just fine. Thanks!
