TX 3D Builder open beta bug: Object selection

When I try to select a 3D model in the viewport the bounding box isn't always visible to me.
With one model selected I am trying to select another 3D model by dragging the cursor
over this object but nothing happens. After moving the camera left and right or back and forth
suddenly the bounding box appears but I don't know when or why. Is there something like a
minimum distance to the object?
Furthermore the bounding box isn't visible completly if there is no skybox in the scene.
You can only see those parts of the bounding box which have a terrain in the background.
The part of the bounding box which is ahead of the missing skybox isn't visible.
So enough testing for the moment. I have to do some tests for work ;)

If it helps i'm working on an IMac running windows at 1680x1050.

I have a different problem with selecting things. Whether it's a scene object or a gizmo axis I can't seem to select anything I want. When I click one object it selects another one or none at all. It's like whatever equation decides what to select is out of synch or something, I can't really explain it too well.If it helps i'm working on an IMac running windows at 1680x1050.
