Object Selection

Have 1 of 2 questions here.

I am trying to figure out how to let the user select objects. Is there a simple way of doing this or is there a resource / forum post anyone knows about that aids in this that is TGEA related?

I'll go thru it again but just a while ago when I looked at it I couldn't find some of those files I didn't even have some of the directories.

I don't know if it matters but im using 1.7.0

Ok i went ahead and tried going thru it and some of the functions I do not have, I found the files although not all in the folders they specified.

here is my next question

What is enabled when you go into world editor mode because that allowed you to move around like normal and click on objects. Is there a way we can enable that all the time(object selection method)

Thanks for the help

Ive seen allot of talk about how you cant do that because there is a gui object right in front. Why cant we just delete all the gui objects and only create ones we need with width x height defined such as a hot bar that just sits on the left side of the screen or a chat box. Then would that make object selection easier?

I'm reading all the new documentation put out on TGEA right now in hopes I can learn abit more about whats going on and see if I can figure it out.
