Texturing scales different on two different brushes..

This is just one of my observations on a couple of brushes and just wondering what causes this? I have two different brushes and have gone through the same texturing process for each, but one brush requires a significant difference in the scaling coordinates. On the height axis one of them is .36 and the other is .72 when matched. This isn't a complaint just simply wanting to know what causes it, just thought it could be a bug if so it's on the table, if not I need to change a few methods...Being on constructor for a while now I don't remember having this issue ever before,

I've been trying to remember exactly what I did in the scaling and texturing process. I'll usually hit "Unify', then 'Face', then rotate if needed, then scale it accordingly. I hardly ever hit any of the other buttons. I never mess with the Texture: Advanced buttons on the bottom and I hardly ever 'World' them.
As for brushes, I DO use the vert's quite a bit but I am extremely careful when I move them around. And I don't really see that being the culprit here anyway. What's weird is I have done the same thing with the brushes and faces all around. I'm just wanting to know more than anything, once again, not a complaint at all.

Jaimi, I actually need to make a correction. Texturing scales different on two different faces on the same brush. However, I do have a few matching brushes not texturing the same either.
