A good way to learn Torque script

by Jorn Theunissen · in Technical Issues · 08/04/2008 (4:09 am) · 3 replies

Hello,
not to lang ago I've bought The Torque Game Builder. The builder itself is real easy in use and I could work with it in just a couple hours. The real problems came with the torque script. Although I"ve read and tried the tutorials like : 'watering Flowers' and the game 'Asteroids', I just don't get along with the code. In the tutorials you get pages of coding without propper or too few explanantion.

Does anybody know a good book or tutorials that explain the script in a more easy way. Other Advice about starting with the scripting is allways welcome.

There are many books that cover torque script. They can be found online by searching or in the GG store.

In the installed html documentation,

expand Reference >
expand TGB Reference >

At the bottom of the list look at,

TorqueScript Overview and TorqueScript Reference
