DTS export from Blender

Has anyone as yet managed to export a DTS model from Blender??

I am aware that there is a dts export python script in the blender dir in the HEAD snapshot that i downloaded last week.

Not sure how well it works.
So i ask has anyone else try that out?

Not that I am aware of.

I have seen many sample blender images, animations, and games (web based and standalone). I have also used some plugins. It's cool. I know it is different than other modeling and animation programs...

If you own 3dsmax/Maya/Whatever and are happy, fine. Though, if you don't have $2000-$5000, or your momma taught you not to warez. Check it out: Blender

I really want to support Blender... I have been looking at the Blender sources... I think it's really cool... it even runs on Windows, Mac, and Linux

Last time i checked, the blender export script did absolutely nothing. (As in it does not export anything, nor does it do anything useful)
Though i suppose you could always write a better one =)

Yeah it seems its half done, only runs through the scene, collecting everyting in an dtsobjs-array.

Hope it will be done one day, blender is a nice choice on linux, when 3D-modeling for testing.

The link is providing nothing more than an error. Where can I get an exporter for Blender?

Some other links that might help you in your travels. Luckily there is a TON of resources for blender and torque out there.. probably more than I've found for any other modelling application

http://www.wiredpea.com/tutorials/blender_torque_exporter - another exporter tutorial for blender
http://web.cs.du.edu/~leut/3821/blenderExportNotes.html - This was a summer of some lowpolycoop tuts that went offline.. looks more technical which is a good thing
